With this Centralized Medical Entrance System; students will have the option to choose Medical / Dental Colleges of any state within India i.e., Students may go for other state to complete his/her Medical / Dental degree.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Exam – Medical / Dental Admission Test

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam eligibility criteria: - Who are eligible to appear at National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination for admission to Medical & Dental colleges of West Bengal & India from now on. Indian Citizens including Non-Residential Indians passed 10+2 (H.S.) or equivalent examination at least with 50% marks [40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates] Physics, Chemistry & Biology –and- pass mark in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English; are eligible to appear at National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam. Students appearing in this year’s 10+2 (H.S.) exam are also eligible to appear at National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The minimum age of every student should be 17 years or above. Few Medical / Dental Colleges have a maximum age limit of 25 years and many Institutes don’t have any upper age limitation also.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Exam Question Paper Pattern: - Students seeking admission in Medical / Dental colleges of India & West Bengal should appear at National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Thus, it’s very important to know the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Question Paper format. Total of 180 questions will be arranged in 3-hours National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) exam starts at 10am [10am to 1pm]. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET PG) is the eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various MD/MS and PG Diploma courses under ambit of Post Graduate Medical Regulations 2000 (as amended) notified by Medical Council of India (MCI) with prior approval of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET PG) is mandatory test for gaining entry to MD / MS / PG Diploma courses at all Medical Colleges under ambit of PGME Regulation of MCI. No Candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum eligibility marks as prescribed shall be admitted to any Post Graduate course.

NEET PG 2012 Date Schedule: - National Board of Examinations (NBE) shall be conducting NEET PG as a Computer Based Test (CBT) from 23rd November 2012 to 6th December 2012 at 33 Test Centres across India.

NEET PG 2012 Eligibility Criteria: - Candidates who are in possession of MBBS degree / provisional MBBS Pass Certificate from an Institute recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) / State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or likely to complete on or before 31st March 2013.

NEET PG 2012 Application Process: - Candidates who want to apply for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET PG) 2012 are advised to apply for NEET PG through online application system at www.nbe.gov.in/neetpg.
