Eligibility, Qualification Criteria for Stenographer, Clerk & Peon Job (Recruitment) of Howrah District Court: - In respect of all posts in Group B & C category, the candidate must have passed Madhyamik or equivalent examination from any recognized Board and at least a Certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation. Moreover, for L.D.C, knowledge in type writing in English is preferable. For English Stenographer a minimum speed @ 80w.p.m. in Shorthand and a minimum Speed @30 w.p.m in typewriting from a legible manuscript in English for 10 minutes and also at least a Certificate in Computer Training from a recognized institution and a satisfactory fingering speed in Computer Operation are required. In respect of Group-D category (other than Sweeper): The Candidate must have class VIII pass certificate from any recognized School or recognized Madrasah or any other recognized equivalent Institution.

Age Limitation / Job Experience requirement for Stenographer, Clerk & Peon in Howrah District Court: - Not less than 18-years and not more than 37 years for the post of English Stenographer and 40 years for the post of Lower Division Clerk and Group-D post as on 1st January, 2013. The relaxation of age limit for five years in case of candidates SC/ST category and for 3 years in case of candidates of OBC category only. The upper age limit, in case of physically handicapped Candidate, is 45 years. Relaxation of age limit in case of Ex-Service man category as per existing Government Rules. For English Stenographer there shall be no age limit for persons holding permanent posts of Typist and Steno –Typists under the Government.

  • Criteria for IBPS Clerical Recruitment Test – Candidates passed Madhyamik (Class-10th) or its equivalent examination with at least 60% marks in aggregate –OR- at least 60% marks in Higher Secondary (10+2) examination –OR- Graduation from any recognized University can seat in the Clerk Recruitment Test conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). Candidate should be between 18-28 years of age [relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government norms].

  • Clerk Recruitment Banking Exam Paper Format - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) organizes the following tests for the Bank Clerk RecruitmentTest of Reasoning, English, Numerology Ability, General Knowledge [focusing mainly on Banking Sector] and Computer Knowledge. Total of fifty multiple choice questions are set for each of these five papers. It means each paper has 50-marks and in total 250 marks examination is taken. The test duration is 150 minutes [2 hours 30 minutes] and qualified candidates get the IBPS Score Card.
  • Probationary Officer & Management Trainee Recruitment Banking Exam Paper Format - Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) organizes written test in two stages for the PO recruitment in Bank. At first candidates required to appear in written test like Clerical Recruitment Test. This written test is of 225 marks [Duration of 150 minutes] and consist of Multiple Choice Questions taken from Reasoning [50 marks], English Language [25 marks], Quantitative Aptitude [50 marks], General Awareness in Banking Sector [50 marks] and Computer Knowledge [50 marks]. Candidates securing the minimum score in Objective Type Test will only get to appear in Descriptive Type 2nd Stage Test.
