H.S. Exam Grade System | New Gradation Process Higher Secondary Results Mark Sheet



The Gradation Process in Higher Secondary examination has started in 2007 but at that time the range of marks was higher (example: A+ grade meant 80-100 marks). But, in 2011 Higher Secondary Board of West Bengal has changed the format of H.S. Exam Gradation Division of result (mark sheet). The new division of marks in the Higher Secondary (Class-12 / 10+2) WB Board Examination Gradation Procedure of Mark Sheets (Result) as follows: -

New Class-12th Higher Secondary Exam Grade System
• HS Gradation – AA Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means 90-100 marks obtained.
HS Gradation – A+ Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means 75-89 marks obtained.
• HS Gradation – A Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means 60-74 marks obtained.
HS Gradation – B+ Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means 50-59 marks obtained.
• HS Gradation – B Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means 40-49 marks obtained.
HS Gradation – C Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means 30-39 marks obtained.
• HS Gradation – D Grade of H.S. (10+2) Examination means below 30 marks obtained.

The West Bengal Higher Secondary Board has also informed to add 50% marks of Practical Exams taken at School Campuses in Final HS Exam Marks for the betterment of every School.
