The main reason behind Cancelling the WB TET August 2015 Exam is ‘Loss of Question Papers’. Last Sunday, few bundles of sealed question paper went missing while transferring to Hooghly. Thus, after discussion with West Bengal Primary Education Board members ; Honorable Education Minister of West Bengal Shri Partha Chattopadhyay took the right decision of Cancelling 30th August 2015 Primary School Teacher Recruitment Exam (TET) and rescheduled it on 11th October 2015 (Sunday).

At first, it was declared that TET will held on 4th October 2015 (Sunday). Since, Municipality Election in two Municipalities of West Bengal are on 3rd October 2015 and few other competitive recruitment examinations are also scheduled to be taken on 4th October 2015; thus, WB TET will took place on 11th October 2015.

All of those, who are going to appear in West Bengal Primary School Teacher Recruitment Examination (WB TET 2015), are requested to cope with the inconvenient happened due to WB TET Question Paper Missing issue and rescheduled date.

Remember, the New Date of WB TET Exam is 11th October 2015 [Sunday] and Exam Venue & TET Exam Timing will remain same. Good wishes to all of you appearing on 11th October 2015 WB TET Exam [instead of 30th August 2015].

Kabiguru Rabindranath Tagore's daughter-in-law Protima Tagore built this House to train women of Hills in Arts & Crafts way back in 1930's. Kalimpong's Chitra Bhanu later on became Kabi Guru Rabindranath Tagore's summer destination because whenever Rabindra Nath Tagore visited Kalimpong, he stayed here. Rabindranath Tagore had celebrated his 78th Birthday in Gauripur House of Kalimpong. Kabiguru wrote few poems named 'Janmadin', Jaksha', 'Maya' & 'Jarathikali' in the year 1938 when Rabindra Nath Tagore stayed here at Gauripur House, Kalimpong for almost 52 days. After 2 years, in the year 1940 Kabiguru Rabindra Nath Tagore penned poems named 'Jalil Sansar', 'Apaghat', 'Namkaran' etc. On 25th April 1940 [25 Baisakh, 1345 Bengali Calendar], Rabindranath Tagore recited his poem 'Janmadin' from this Gauripur Tagore House of Kalimpong through telephone system and broadcast live on All India Radio. This is the first ever Telephone Line connected Kalimpong & Kolkata. Kabiguru's last visit to Gauripur House of Kalimpong was on 28th September, 1954.

The recent condition of this Heritage House is not well because Gauripur House of Kalimpong is now in ruins. Kalimpong's Tagore House (Gauripur House) was damaged highly in September 2011 because of Earthquake in North-East India. Heritage House i.e., Tagore House of Kalimpong is now surrounded by overgrowth grass & weeds and the structure itself is on the verge of collapsing any moment.
