Fire broke out at Dasani Studio Tollygunge Kolkata

Today (5th April 2013) around 1:45pm; a massive fire broke out happened at Dasani AC Studio of Tollygunge Studio para in Kolkata. The fire was seen first during the shooting of Didi No.1 Bengali serial. Actress Rachana Banerjee, who is the anchor of Didi No.1 Zee Bangla show, was present along with the participants of Didi No.1 show and technicians when the fire broke out. Since, it’s an AC Floor and windows were closed; thus the smoke spread all over the floor within a minute. Actors, actresses, supporting staffs, technicians & other people who were present at that time, are able to come out fast.

So many Bengali TV serials & shows are being shot at Dasani Studio of Tollygunge (Kolkata) and ‘Bhalobasa.com’, ‘Isti Kusum’, ‘Maa’, ‘Didi No.1’ are few of them.

Since, the time of fire broke out happened around 1:45pm, which is the peak working time, many TV actors & actresses were present at Dasani Studio Kudghat (Kolkata). Regent Park Police Station came to the spot quickly and soon later fire brigade (domkol) team arrived for the rescue process. Disaster management team also went there.

Production related damage has happened due to this fire case of Dasani Studio, Kolkata. No major injury or burn case reported yet. But, few people were sent to Bangur Hospital with minor injuries. Fire broke out might had happened due to Shot Circuit, but the real reason will be declared after investigation.
